To register as a participant please fill out our registration form and print your pledge sheet!

Let’s put ‘Paws to Pavement’ for a great cause!
Help fund the Lac La Biche Regional Humane Society’s 2019 Adoption, Spay/Neuter, Foster & Educational programs by collecting pledges for our 1st annual Mutt March Walk-a-thon!
June 22 – Please be at McArthur Park between 11:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m. to hand in your pledges and sign in. Walk begins promptly at 12:00 p.m.
Refreshments will be offered & incentive prizes awarded upon completion of the march. BBQ to follow march! Free burger included in your registration!
1. This is a family friendly event where safety is our top priority. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring along a dog that might feel anxious in this type of situation i.e. around kids, other dogs, crowds, a walk through town etc.
2. Rules for the Mutt March are as follows:
· Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash, well socialized & supervised at all times.
· Dogs vaccinations must be current for your animals safety
· Dogs must be physically able and not in heat.
· Participants (human) under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
· Everyone is asked to respect the environment and pick up any “deposits” their animal might make along the way.
· Please be kind to your pet and maintain a “leisurely pace”
· Water for your dog will be supplied “community style”
3. The “Mutt March Loop” will start at McArthur Park, Lac La Biche heading West on the walking trail along the lake, then South to the V&H and looping East on Mainstreet to the ball diamonds and back to the starting point at McArthur Park.
4. All participants must pre-register, by picking up a package at one of the following package at the shelter (38 Nipewon Road) or by printing your package emailed to you!
Incentive prizes will be awarded for total pledges over $75 as well the top 3 pledge raisers!
5. Pledge forms and pledges (payments) are to be handed in to the event organizers when signing in at the event June 22, 2019
