Single Gifts: You can help an animal in need today with a one-time gift! Your donation will provide food, shelter and veterinary care.
Tribute In Honour ~ Honour a loved one, friend, or even a pet by making a tribute gift to the LLBRHS in their name. When donating a tribute gift, please complete the following Donor Form to provide us with your wishes on how to notify the Honoree.
In Memory ~ Honour the memory of a loved one, friend, or beloved pet by making a donation in his or her name. Your donation in memory provides a lasting and meaningful remembrance. When donating a tribute gift, please complete the following Donor Form to provide us with your wishes on how to notify the Honoree. Funeral homes are welcome to contact us to arrange for a donor registry for the family.
Special Occasion Gift: Share a smile and celebrate a special occasion with a meaningful gift - perfect for a birthday, graduation, anniversary, wedding or any holiday! Please provide gift recipient email address and add your personal message. We will send out an ecard directly, or we can mail you a certificate with your message and donation details to enclose in a card (please allow at least 2 weeks for this option).
Celebrate your Wedding/Special Event: As a token of appreciation for attending your special day, you might consider doing something meaningful by collecting donations to help our rescues. We can provide you with a tent card to display at your event inviting donations as a thoughtful way to make your event memorable and honor your commitment to the humane treatment of animals in our region. To make your donation and arrangements for a display tent card, please contact us at 780-520-PAWS or [email protected]
The JACK FUND: This is a designated fund for any rescue in need of emergency medical care or surgery. This fund was established in honor of “Jack”, a very young kitten who came to us with a severely damaged eye requiring emergency surgical removal. When we reached out for donations to help us pay for his surgery, our community came through with flying colours, and little Jack went on to be a very much loved & active adoptee! This fund has since enabled us to provide so many rescues the emergency care they needed To donate to this very important fund, please use the designated donation button below.
A tax deductible receipt will be issued to any donations over $20
Donations may be made via eTransfer (our preferred method)

or with PayPal, or may be dropped off at the shelter during business hours.

Food & Item DonationsWe now have a donation bins at Brittons Independent Grocer, IGA, Lakeland Animal Care Group, and our shelter building! Donations of dog food, cat food, puppy/kitten formula, treats, bowls, collars/leashes, kitty litter/ boxes, beds/bedding, puppy pee pads, toys, kennels, x-pens, dog houses etc. would be most welcome!!!
