Our goal is to help those animals in need within the Lac La Biche Region. However, that is only possible through the generosity of people like yourselves who are willing to open their homes to an animal in need.
Do you have the ability to:
- Provide a temporary home for an animal in need?
- Care for an injured animal?
- Provide a temporary home for an expecting mom?
- Raise a young animal until it can be ready to be offered for adoption?
- Provide a loving environment for abandoned seniors?
- Help rehab?

What We Do!
Lac La Biche Regional Humane Society's foster program helps care for orphaned, abandoned or injured animals until they can be placed in a forever home. We believe that fostering a rescued animal in a home environment while awaiting permanent placement, facilitates the ability to better evaluate the animal, both physically and emotionally. A home environment is not only less stressful on an animal then a boarding facility but is also considerably less expensive. Foster families open their homes and hearts to help the Humane Society save more lives. For many families it is a very rewarding experience.
