Animal Surrenders

The LLBRHS recognizes that owners sometimes face the need to surrender an animal to the Humane Society for a variety of reasons.  Animal surrenders are by appointment only. Some of our rescues are fostered in private homes.  As such, an appropriate amount of time is required to arrange for an approved foster home. ​

 The fee to surrender an animal is:

• $25 if the owner is able to foster while we work to re-home the animal,
• or $50 if 4 business days are provided to allow for managing those arrangements. 
• Should this not be an option, an emergency surrender fee of $75 will apply. 

Litters/Pregnant Animals: 

• Feline litter is $100.
• Canine litter is $50/dog. 
• Pregnant cat is $100.
• Pregnant canine is $150.

Returned Adoptions:

• Feline - $100
• Canine - $150
